Fall TV Favorites for watching while you work.
I was chatting with two of my business BFFs last night (Rosemary and Jana) when we got on the subject of Fall TV premieres and started trading lists. We all definitely love watching TV when we're working (or even when we're relaxing) and so I decided to share my favorite fall lineup with you so you can save them too!
These are the shows set to record on my DVR this fall. Bolded shows are my favorites and shows with asterisks are new this year but I'm looking forward to diving into them.
- Suits
- Blindspot
- Queen Sugar*
- Scream Queens
- Law and Order SVU
- Empire
- Chicago PD
- Designated Survivor*
- Grey's Anatomy
- Pitch*
- How to Get Away with Murder
- Younger
- Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
- The Vampire Diaries
- Supergirl
- Jane the Virgin
- Madam Secretary
For the new shows, here's a synopsis of what they're about:
- Queen Sugar: tells the story of the estranged Bordelon siblings in Louisiana. At the center of the family are Nova, a journalist and activist; Charley, the wife and manager of an NBA player; and formerly incarcerated father Ralph Angel, who is searching for redemption. Following a tragedy in the family, the siblings must put their complicated lives aside so that they can come together to run the clan's struggling sugar cane farm.
- Designated Survivor: On the night of the State of the Union, an explosion claims the lives of the President and all members of the Cabinet except for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Tom Kirkman, who had been named the designated survivor. Kirkman is immediately sworn in as President, unaware that the attack is just the beginning of what is to come.
- Pitch: The series, set in the confines of Major League Baseball, sets its focus on a young female pitcher who becomes the first woman to play in the league,[3] when she is chosen to play for the San Diego Padres.
What are you watching this fall? Are there any shows I'm missing out on?
