Fully Lived: Nashville Recommendations

Welcome to the Fully Lived series (a great accompaniment to the Fully Lived podcast). As I've been exploring this nomad life, people keep asking where my favorite places are in each city I spend a decent amount of time in. Knowing this, I've decided to start a blog series highlighting my favorite haunts in cities that I spend at least a week in. Next in the series is Nashville, TN, the spiciest city in the south.

to eat

These are the gems I fell in love with while in Nashville.

BARISTA PARLORThere are three locations in the Nashville area and I had such a blast coworking from here most days.

COFFEE & COCONUTS: This coffee shop is brand spanking new and we had a blast coworking there one day while I was in town.

WHISKEY KITCHEN: Whiskey Kitchen evokes the cool, intimate scene that offers a bit of everything. The menu is a mix of chef-inspired pub favorites, southern classics, and wood-fired pizzas. I fell in freaking love with this cozy space.

More spaces: Burger Up, Burger Republic, Five Points Pizza, Five Daughters Bakery, Pinewood Social.

to sleep

So I originally was going to Nashville to partner with the Kimpton Aertson hotel but ended up last-minute crashing with Jessica and Josh Randolph. Jessica is the co-founder of The Nashville Perspective, a top-performing real estate agent, and the designer on the HGTV show Masters of Flip. Josh is the Head of Acquisitions and Entitlements at Aerial Development Group. Literally the best last-minute housing situation I've ever experienced - Jess & Josh are the dream and their pup, Forrest, is the snuggliest coworking buddy out there.

to see

I chose to do my sightseeing on a Saturday and that was not a smart idea, but I had a blast nonetheless!

Places I saw: Grand Old Opry, Madame Tussauds, downtown Nashville (Broadway), Bluebird Cafe, all the stops featured on the Nashville TV show, etc.
