We recently had the opportunity to do some exciting work with A Southern Soiree on overall site updates. Our favorite part of the updates, by far, was the press page. Previously, they used a blog category page for their press page, serving up a long roll of blog posts to clients about their vast (and awesome) press features.

"There has to be a better way" was one of the first things they said when we started talking about their website update project. The answer is "there sure is!" After sharing inspirations and finding different ways to accomplish their goal, we were able to translate their vision into a reality! We updated their press page with all the magazine covers from their print press features and designed gorgeous complimentary images for their digital press features.

Courtesy of some plugins on their Wordpress site and a few small tweaks, the press page also features a dynamic hover function - the magazine cover your mouse hesitates on appears to "pop off" the page, adding just a touch of additional flair to showcase A Southern Soiree's awesome work!
